Bushnell binoculars - The 26-0400 full-featured night vision binoculars are exceptionally easy to use during long periods of observation and viewing. Extra-long viewing range, lightweight and a wide field-of-view makes it ideal for law enforcement, camping, scouting game, security and surveillance, search and rescue, hunting, boating, policing warehouses, spelunking, night navigation, observing wildlife under the veil of darkness, or other locations where there is no ambient light to amplify. It has a compact design that offer superior vision in the lowest light conditions. It features inherent infrared illuminators for enhanced images even in the darkest shadows and sets the standard in light-gathering technology. The Bushnell mark for quality manufacturing, rugged compact design, and leading performance is apparent in every model of night vision devices. They are water-resistant and rubber armored for durability and tight grip.

How night vision operates?

It amplify existing light, permitting you to see in dark conditions, which is too dark for the naked eye. The scopes are made up of top quality image intensifier tubes and optics. It compiles and amplify existing light through the objective lens, which is then centered on the image intensifier. Inside the intensifier, a photo cathode is “excited” by the light and converts the photon energy into electrons. These electrons accelerate across an electrostatic field within the intensifier and strike a phosphor screen (like a green monochrome TV screen) which emits an image that you can see. It is the velocity of electrons, which provides gain and enhances the image.

What is a night vision device?

A night vision device (NVD) is an optical instrument that lets images to be produced in levels of light approaching total blackness. They are frequently used by the military and law enforcement agencies, but also available to civilian users. The term typically refers to a complete unit, having a protective and generally water-resistant covering, an image intensifier tube, and some type of mounting system. Several NVDs also have IR illuminators, sacrificial lenses, and telescopic lenses.

NVDs are mounted appropriately for their particular purpose, with more general-purpose devices having more mounting selections. It may be put on the user’s head for hands free use with a harness or helmet attachment, either in aligned pairs for binocular “night vision goggles” which provide a point of depth perception as do optical binoculars or as a monocular device.

These devices were first used in WW II, and got into wide use during the Vietnam War. The technology has evolved greatly since their creation, resulting to several “generations” of night vision equipment with performance increasing and price diminishing.

Bushnell Binoculars

No telling how you’ll react when confronted with what hangs around after dark, but with Bushnell Night Vision model 26-0400 binocular, time will never again order your hours of operation. These optics turn night into day with inherent infrared illuminators and advanced light-gathering technology. It features a new StealthView digital model that utilizes an infrared spotlight for long-range luminance and clearness.
