Cisco Certification - Your Edge Over Other IT Professionals

I have this friend who works now in Lexmark as a Network Administrator. We graduated from the same Technical school but he is two years ahead of me. He’s a Computer Science graduate and he told me that his first job was a Call Center agent. Not so related right? His very good about Computer Networks because there are times when he is called to set up an Internet Cafe. He had applied for several positions before like System Administrator, IT Supervisor , LAN Support but failed miserably. It was then that he decided to take a Cisco training.

He invested on a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) training through a virtual classroom. In a span of 5 days he quickly familiarized himself with the latest Cisco technologies and hardware. The training is worth the penny spent because the well-trained professionals gave them constant support and feedbacks. They are not only focused on theory but also enhancing students’ practical skills regarding various aspects of Cisco technologies and hardware.

The certificate really made the difference for him when he applied for Network Administrator in Lexmark. He landed the job with ease as if the certificate itself was the ticket to the job. Maybe that’s the reason why lots of IT professionals recommend CCNA training courses to people who wish to build a solid, successful career in the IT field.

So if you’re an aspiring IT professional who loves to work with computer networks then I suggest you take the Cisco certification. Its getting harder to get a job nowadays but with the right training like Cisco certification then you have the edge.
