Well, the only hassle I had is lifting it by myself up to the counter. I have had my dishwasher for 8 months now and have used it about every day. I have not had any hassle with it at all. It works just as well as expensive integrated models. Just secure it in to any outlet, set up the faucet adapter and connect the fast release water hose and switch on your hot water and put the detergent, switch it on and it’s set. All the dishes will be washed in it’s longest cycle (it has four) in about 45 minutes. I’m a guy and love the thing. Before, you couldn’t bring me to do the dishes at the sink for a gazillion bucks! (Ask my wife) This thing is very well developed. If you’re hunting for a portable counter equipment, get this one. It’s well worth the cash. - James
I am taking on the time for the review because I like in complimenting those that create great products I love. I have already reached Danby & told them so! I have had my Danby for four years on my counter top and it works great. I can put ANY fry pan or pot, etc. into the equipment for washing. I also use it to wash dust off loads of cups & glasses, spatulas, spring washing etc. because I want a clean kitchen and run a tight ship. I have been using my Danby for 3-4 loads a day since I bought it & no hassles whatsoever. 4 years x 365 days X 3 loads a day = 4,380 load cycles without a problem and for merely $200. !! Anyone that is STILL doing dishes by hand is nuts not to have this device. - Michael Prince
This is a great equipment that does an splendid job washing dishes, pots, and pans as well. Easy to utilize, reliable…and affordable on the wallet. It does hold service for four dishes without problem. Needs just 1 teaspoon of dishwashing soap per load. If you use the new soap tablets currently on the market, crack them in half…use just one half. A full tablet is too much. No more nosey than a traditional under counter equipment.
