24p True Cinema Video Output

Sony Blue Ray is great and I have it hooked up to a new Sony High Def TV so the picture and song are the bomb. I believe that the Sony will be a good investment for years to come. Don’t listen to the hype. The Sony BDP-s300 is an excellent player that gives you a lot for very little money. My sister has had nothing but problems from her PS3, and I have had no issues with this player, that I’ve had for almost a year. Pick up this player, and judge for yourself. The wait after turning the machine on is no big deal. Remember a few years back how long it took your computer to boot up? Absolutely no complaints as to how well it functions. This is a magnificent Blu-ray DVD player. It enhances regular DVD viewing and presents Blu-ray discs in full 1080p (if you have a 1080p HDTV). One necessary step is to obtain a firmware update from Sony; I run a Mac computer, so I could not download the firmware update from Sony’s website - only Windows. But, I called Sony and got the firmware disc in three days. Contrary to what you may have read in some reviews, this machine works great with the update! - Stephen Larcovic
