Definition of an indoor antenna

As opposed to being mounted on the roof, it is a type of Radio or TV Antenna set indoors. Indoor antennas are usually a simple and cheap solution that may operate well when the receiver is relatively near to the broadcasting transmitter and the building walls do not fend the radio waves too much.

Purchase this one if you have HD. It is terrific. I’ve used 2 other antennas and none got a signal anywhere near as great as this one. Don’t be fooled by the dB output. In one word - amazing! I had first bought an indoor antenna at Radio Shack and the sales agent said getting HDTV was a hit or miss. Well that one was a miss.
